Shantaram Rajaram Vankudre (18 November 1901 – 30 October 1990), referred to as V. Shantaram or Shantaram Bapu, was an Indian filmmaker, film producer, and actor known for his work in Hindi and Marathi films
he was one of pioneering of important filmmaker in terms of shaping Indian film industry.
although once classic his most movies are dated now, also sadly many of his early work is now lost also posters are not available
his later movies expect some where also not upto mark and some was very embarrassing to watch, he was one of those filmmaker who didn't change with time but still his contribution in shaping Indian film industry is unforgettable
