A list of manga that debuted in "Weekly Shonen Jump Magazine" from its debut in 1968, up to 1973. In these early years, most stories published in the magazine were only intended to last for a few months at most, yet some managed to become early hits which lasted for years, such as "An Exemplary Gang Leader", "Boy of the Wilderness Isamu", "Barefoot Gen" , etc. These long form stories would become the norm come the following decade.
