Western Movie Challenge

Do you want to take a ride to the cinematic West? Why don't you challenge yourself to watching 120 Westerns spanning 80 years? Westerns got their start early but hit their stride in the 40s starting with movies like Stagecoach and reached new heights in the 50s with movies like High Noon, The Searchers, Rio Bravo and many others. As the popularity of Westerns waned, edgier Westerns like The Good, The Bad and the Ugly, Butch Cassidy and the Sundance Kid, and McCabe & Mrs. Miller appeared in 60s and into the 70s. Westerns today though are no longer as popular as they once were but newer ones in recent decades have continued to show the guts and the grandeur of the Western experience.
