What Should Be in a Household Binder

This are just a few ideas - you can make your binder as inclusive or as simple as you'd like. There are tons of free printables online, or you can print or handwrite your own.
I happen to love using binders to stay organized, so once I created my household binder I started creating other ones too:
Financial Planning (life insurance, pension, 401k, IRA)
a Medical binder for each family member
Taxes
General Finances (bills, bank accounts)
Recipes
Manuals and Instructions (for various household products)
a Vehicle binder for each car in the family (insurance, maintenance and repairs)
I also have one for each school year for my son. Once he gets into Junior High and High School, I'll probably combine 3 years into each binder as the amount of paperwork/artwork should slow down.
This sort of binder is helpful for the household manager, but also really useful in case of an emergency. If something happens to you, this will be invaluable to anyone who has to handle your affairs.
