What to Read If You're Having an Identity Crisis

A couple of weeks ago I asked my literature group on Facebook for advice on what to read if you're having an identity crisis. These are their recommendations. As you can see it's a mix between self help books, memoirs, entertaining fiction and philosophy books. Technically the movie version of Into the wild and the radio play version om Lord of the Rings was recommended.
They also recommended some things that weren't books:

CrashCourse on YouTube, specifically their videos on philosophy, psychology and literature
Taking philosophy courses
Good luck with your identity crisis!
