Wild Bill's Recent Weekend Road Trip March 2022

Had a wonderful three day trip recently. Had good 1/2 price meal at Smuggler's Wharf right on the water followed by Maritime Museum which is connected to the Erie Library and in the old GE Power Plant. Wonderful stay at Hampton Inn which excellent pool and breakfast.
Day 2 started with Mansfield. Enjoyed art center (they have a John Mellencamp exhibit coming in the Spring 2022). Didn't tour Shawshank Prison due to time constraints this trip but will go back sometime. The Amish food at Der Dutchman was fantastic, esp chicken and mashed potatoes and girlfriend spent a lot at gift shop. Saw Marvel Exhibit at COSI (huge place with a lot of cool exhibits including dinosaurs). Best Western was bad motel (small pool).
3rd Day enjoyed Y-Bridge though Vasehenge was missing. Sarris candies is great for all types of chocolate and Pompeii Exhibit was awesome at Carnegie (ending Apr). Aviary was very nice and Matress factory for those that like pop culture.
