Women of Science Fiction and Fantasy

These are some of my favorite women writers of Sci-Fi and Fantasy. This Genre has often been male dominated so much so that some famous writers took male names such as Andre Norton and James Tiptree Jr... but this list is all female. I included no more than two books or lumped a series together for each author. I know that this is not all the female writers of the genre but hopefully it will give you an idea of how much women have contributed to this genre.
