Great Movies That Are Hard to Watch Twice (Collider)

"A great movie can often be endlessly rewatchable. If it resonates with a viewer and watching it makes for a great time, it could become an all-time favorite or a comfort movie to pull out and watch for a relaxing or reliably fun experience. However, not all great films are great for the same reasons, and some might provide an incredible or emotional experience that a viewer wouldn't want to go through again. There are a handful of films that are well-loved and overall fantastic achievements but are difficult to revisit for one reason or another. It's no guarantee that they're impossible to watch more than once, more that the idea of sitting through them again is difficult. They are all worth experiencing at least once, but no one would hold it against you if you felt once was enough." - collider.com
