10 Great Movies You'll Need a Strong Stomach to Get Through (Collider)

"Throughout cinema history, there have been a good many movies that were shocking and confronting for the sake of it, and without necessarily being great movies themselves. Some might defend those films and argue they have things to say, but such voices are probably in the minority, and even then, it's hard to call such films great in the traditional sense. But then there are other movies that are widely regarded as masterful, yet also have content that makes them difficult to watch, and thereby only worth recommending alongside some kind of warning. The following films are all excellent, but shouldn't be entered into lightly, unless you consider your stomach particularly strong. And if you've seen all of these and didn't break a sweat with any of them, then congrats. You're very tough and special. You're so wonderful and cool. Must be hard to walk down a street and maneuver through your legions of adoring fans on a daily basis." - collider.com
