41 Books for 40 Years

Back in 2023 when I turned 40, I started a project of reading one book from every year I have been on this planet. Starting with 1983, I'd read one and the onto the next one until 2023. The project took three years as I have been reading other books in between. Four were rereads - Memoirs of a Geisha, the Virgin Suicides, Love in the Time of Cholera and A Little Life. Some favourites were Waterland, the Bone People, Fall on Your Knees and Moon of the Crusted Snow.
