With the 2015 Rock and Roll Hall of Fame ahead of us, once again we have the opportunity to induct and recognize many deserving artists who continue to be ignored by the prejudice voters and organization committee. People always criticize the Rock and Roll Hall of Fame for its shoddy choices, omissions and rules and, quite frankly, those criticisms are justified.
To counteract the idiocy of the Hall, we have to recognize the band/artists that they ignore either purposely or unintentionally. Progressive rock, glam rock, rap music, funk and British alternative rock music was never the committee's fortee, but they didn’t become artists: the guys that played guitar did, guys that just so happen to be in the Hall. Those guys and fans know who should be the Hall of Fame yet the ignorant, snobby Hall refuse to turn a blind eye or a deaf ear to these complaints.
Well, now, it’s time for ME to complain and pick the 50 artists who should be in the Rock and Roll Hall of Fame.
