Why are these (mostly) novels doubly acclaimed? Because all are in BOTH the top 1000 fiction works at "thegreatestbooks.org" website (at 2020) AND in one or more editions of the "1001 Books You Must Read Before You Die" books, including the 2018 update.
But there's more! When you have finished reading a book, it can EASILY be checked off on literally a dozen or more of the book lists on this site, as most of the relevant lists have fairly obvious names.
