100 Great Works of Scottish Fiction
Scotland's contribution to the world of literature is seldom properly acknowledged. Here's a sampling of a few works that have inspired both other Scots writers and those further afield. You don't have to be Scots to like most of these but you would have to be a native to understand a few! Some may also object to the inclusion of some graphic novels - but why not? Let's be European about this - in France they are accepted as a separate art form.
