(9) Inventions

I watched a documentary one time that showed six great inventions that made our world, and one of those inventions was glass.
That surprised me, but he explained we wouldn't have so many things without glass including our devices, cars, fiber optics and so on.
I usually associate glass with windows or cups and I found this so very interesting.
