A Film Buff's Checklist: 100 Bare Essentials. Presenting a list of one hundred feature length movies that if you haven't seen at least 75% of them, we'd question your right to consider yourself a film buff.
For the sake of a diverse list, the one hundred movies selected only allow one movie per film director and only one movie per franchise (usually the first). A selection of both English and foreign language films have also been accounted for.
