I collect apocalypse stories, fiction, scientific, philosophical, religious, crazy rants and terrifying prophecies; there is a lot of variety in this genre. There are a few classics and some cult favorites; there are anthologies, studies of apocalyptic cults and the history of such beliefs. Ecological disaster, plagues, and social collapse are popular themes. The non-fiction is more horrifying as there is no chance of reading about a hero's escape. There are no zombie stories because I don't like them. Hopefully you, the interested, can find a few titles you've never heard of. I haven't quite read all of these, a small stack left for me, but all that I have are terrific examples of the genre. Enjoy.
