A collection of favourites of a thirtysomething Australian reader, from childhood to adulthood, by authors from all over the world, both classic and contemporary, but featuring more Australian authors than most lists. I've tried to pick only one or two per author, and also to list series or trilogies as a single entity rather than going through every single individual book (I'm looking at you, Terry Pratchett).
