This is an exhaustive list of movies which the British Film Institute (BFI) published individual guidebooks for under its Film Classics & Modern Classics series, the latter of which was subsumed into the former. It can be considered a catalog of films which are considered aesthetically or stylistically important, spanning the silent film era to modern day.
