BRP's Personal Favorites

This is a list of my personal favorite books. I am surprised at how short the list is, considering the many hundreds of books I have read. The list is eclectic, and includes books from many genre. Also, I am surprised at the many short stories I have included. To those readers who may think that the list is full of stories of a juvenile nature, or unimaginative in content, or just plain dull, I want you to know that I have no complaint. To paraphrase Tolkien, I anticipate that I would have similar complaints about the stories such readers evidently enjoy. So, go to it. I am interested in what you think.
