Classics Revisited: Books Inspired by Favourites (Part A) - Page 3

This challenge consists of classic books, "which are each followed by sequels or a retold version of those classics, written by someone other than the original author. There are also some unfinished manuscripts by classic authors, later completed by another writer."As far as possible, I have given the original classic work an icon with a "Penguin Classics", "Oxford World's Classics" or "Vintage" cover. Also the classics are in alphabetical order by author's surname (or translator's for Beowulf) . Mind you, I think the originals are fairly obvious.
