Classics That Baillie Recommends Everyone Should Read - Page 2

Classics are everything to me. In my opinion, a book isn't classified by how many times it's been sold or how many times it's been translated (although it could be quite an achievement), but how long it's been both read, discussed, and hugely admired for its wise words and elegant story-telling. This list compromises almost every classic that I've read so far - I'm still in the middle of reading more classics at the moment- and recommend everyone should read either once in their life or as many times as they like.
