Films Umbrellas Saw for the First Time in 2020 - Ranked - Page 12

So here are all the films I watched for the first time in 2020, listed by order of how much I liked them (most liked first). Looking through the list it seems I saw a lot of good films last year. The first 20 or so left a particularly strong impression, but I still really enjoyed the films in the middle of the list, and the 'films I disliked' list seems particularly short this year - probably only about the last ten are in the 'I'd pay NOT to see them again' class. As for recommendations - well, The Big Lebowski is boringly obvious but even if I'm just signing on with everyone else on this one I have to add my endorsement. See it, if you haven't done already. It's brilliant. Less obvious suggestions might be Monte Walsh, The Docks of New York, or Lost in America. These weren't on my radar as 'must see' films before I discovered them, but I'm very glad I did.
