Films Umbrellas Saw in August 2019 - Page 2

These are all the films I watched in August 2019, ranked in order of how much I liked them (most liked first). If you're looking for a bit of Arthurian legend then I strongly recommend Boorman's Excalibur (and NOT Bresson's Lancelot du Lac). This is an old favourite of mine; of new films I saw for the first time this month, the best was Red Headed Woman - anyone wanting an introduction to either Pre-Code Hollywood or Jean Harlow should look no further. It's wicked, in every sense.
