Firsts Magazine's Top 100 Omitted From Modern Library List - Page 2

Firsts, the book collecting magazine, solicited reader's suggestions for books omitted from the Modern Library's 100 best novels of the century. These are the top 15 by votes counted and then the remaining 85 of the top 100 in alphabetical order by title.
"Note that thirteen of the top fifteen are American and virtually all of the top 100, barring a few English and Canadian writers. Note also that the Modern Library 100 best novels of the century was novels and several works here are not novels." List sourced from November, 1999 issue of Firsts.
