Foods to Eat With Neurodermatitis - Page 3

If you suffer from neurodermatitis, you should focus on a diet that is high in fiber, especially whole grains. Oat is especially recommendable. Prefer high quality vegetable oils that are high in omega 3 fatty acid. Avoid saturated fats as they are common in fatty meat and certain dairy products. Don't forget to eat fruit and vegetables as well, especially mild ones that are at the same time good sources for carotene, vitamin C, vitamin B2, B5, and E, as well as certain minerals such as iron and zinc. When eating fruit, always combine it with cereals. If you tolerate dairy, focus on probiocitc unsweetened yoghurt, preferably always combined with cereals as well. Herbal teas are very recommendable, especially chamomile tea in the morning and before going to sleep.
Please note: Neurodermatitis is often caused by food allergies, so of course you should avoid any food you might be allergic to, no matter if it may be recommendable for other persons with neurodermatitis.
