Foundational Books for Peggy

I keep seeing Foundational Book Lists and have no idea what that means for others.
To me, this Foundational Book List is a list of books from childhood through high school that most influenced my reading habits as an adult.
These books introduced me to poetry, good story telling, fiction and nonfiction, art, journalism, humor, and more.
I'm grateful to my parents for being readers and reading to me. I'm grateful that many of these books I simply found on their shelves. I'm grateful that I had the time and space to read.
