The Haycraft-Queen Definitive Library of Detective, Crime, and Mystery Fiction (The Cornerstones) - Page 2

In 1942, American editor Howard Haycraft published Murder for Pleasure, a history of the detective-fiction genre. He included a Reader's List of Detective Cornerstones. Subsequently, American writer and editor Ellery Queen expanded the list to include crime and mystery fiction and updated the list to 1952. The updated list is now known as the Haycraft-Queen Cornerstones. I've listed the Cornerstones in the order of original book publication.
