How to Become a Film Addict

Around 1980-81 my dad came home with our first VHS. He used to rent 2 films a week, one for us kids and one for my parents which I used to watch when he was at work the next day. Before this, Films meant nothing to me but from then on I started to discover the world of films and, very quickly, discovered many different genres. These are the films of my childhood that influenced my tastes til this day. I wonder how many others had a similar introduction to films.
