Jan 2020 TBR by D.K.

December started out really slow but finished reasonably well. My favorite book was A Room of One's Own, by Virginia Woolf. I had convinced myself it would be dry and boring, but it was more like a pounce from a wading bird stabbing a fish. I'm looking forward most to Melmoth by Sarah Perry. I keep re-checking it out as a library ebook and time gets away from me. So far so good, though. Image comes from an article about Melmoth. Perry says, "All my life I've wanted to write a great villain, but a woman." Just so.
