Jared's Favorite Books of 2018

This list is comprised of books I read in 2018 and is sorted by non-fiction, fiction, then memoir. I highly recommend them all, however, if I had to choose a top 5...
How to Change Your Mind - Because it teaches you how powerful your mind is and give you insights into the emerging science around the use of psychedelics for the betterment of people.
Factfulness - Because it gives you a better perspective on the current state of the world and how things can be both better and still need improvement.
Dreamland - Because it shows how our greed and search for constant relief from pain (psychological and physical) can lead to immense suffering and death.
Killers of the Flower Moon - Because it is one of the most fascinating thrillers I've ever read... and it's real... and it takes place in my home state of Oklahoma.
City of Thieves - Because I couldn't put this WWII novel about friendship down... and it's written by one of the writers of GoT.
Lamb - Because we all need to laugh.
