Marvel Comics Event: Avengers/X-Men: AXIS (2014)

The Red Skull uses his newfound psychic powers to flip the roles (and traits) of heroes and villains, with terrifying results both for the Marvel Universe and the heroes themselves. This event rose from the ongoing plot of Uncanny Avengers, and despite a few tie-ins it is largely contained to the event book itself.The event was very unpopular with fans, largely for it's inconsistent art between issues, and it's story interrupting other ongoing titles, while also serving as a poor launch point for new ongoing titles like "Superior Iron Man" and "Cap and the Mighty Avengers".
