Mary's 2023 Reads - Page 2

All the books I read in 2023. Some favorites of the year were "Everyone In This Room WIll Someday Be Dead," "Bomb Shelter," "I Miss You When I Blink," "Lessons in Chemistry," and "Maame." I didn't end up reading quite as many books as I usually do, and I was a little underwhelmed by a lot of the books I chose. I think I was mentally exhausted from work and needed some quicker, less challenging reads, so I read a bunch of mysteries/thrillers, which can be fun but are far from my favorite genre.
