Matthew Sheldon's 40 Best Animated Films in the Collection (Revised)

When it comes to the medium of cinema I personally prefer live action actors, shot on existing locations, recorded on film celluloid. But once in a while a animated film can touch me just as much or even more so than live action cinema, whether the animation is traditionally hand-drawn, uses clay animation, stop motion, puppetry, live-action animation or computer animation. These are the 40 extraordinary animated films that I feel go beyond the genre and is proof that animation isn't simply for children.
