What does non-beach beach reads entail exactly? Well, basically, a book that you would take to the beach that isn't set at the beach. So, generally speaking, the parameters tend to fit: lighter, perhaps a bit fluffy, quicker-paced, set during the summer or at a summer-related setting like a lake, or a forest, or baseball games, or the open road.
Of course, everyone's interests are different and might have different books fitting the bill. So I've included some sci-fi, fantasy, sports, thrillers, psychological suspense, etc. Some books are longer, others are very short. Some are non-fiction too.
