Oct 2021 TBR by D.K

A bit of a shakeup this month; I'm going to be working on a big writing project and wanted to add more reads in the same genre. Best read of the month was My Year of Rest and Relaxation by Otessa Moshfegh, a brilliant unreliable-narrator book with incredible details. I read it because of others' recommendations on Listchallenges :) Looking forward to Plain Bad Heroines most. Still waiting on The Affirmation from the library. You know how it goes. May your Halloween season be to your liking! Recommend Zelazny's A Night in the Lonesome October, which Netflix should really make into a series of short episodes for the season. (The book is structured in 31 nights.) It's funny and creepy. Give it a shot! Cover image: A Night in the Lonesome October image.
