Signet Classics (To 1983) - Page 11

This list covers titles published as Signet Classics until they changed their logo to the current cartouche. I didn't include those collections of books previously published separately (like A Connecticut Yankee in King Arthur's Court with The Prince in the Pauper). As Dr. Jekyll & Mr. Hyde hadn't been published previously (to my knowledge) I included the collection of it with Dracula & Frankenstein. Please be honest with collections & translations as many are original to Signet. OFlannery O'Connor collection is the 1st published, titles included have varied over the years. Quite a few authors not so well-known today like Alexander Kuprin, Ricardo Güiraldes, Johan Bojer, Liam O'Flaherty, Louis Bromfield & H. W. Howe. NOTE: Ignazio Silone's 'Bread & Wine' was translated 2 times for Signet. I didn't realize that until after I published. This listing is for the original translation by Harvey Ferguson II.
