This list contains, in descending order, The Modern Library's list of the 100 best English-language non-fiction books of the last 100 years, as of 1998. The autobiographical book 'The Education of Henry Adams' by Henry Adams was voted to be the best in this category. I've read the book and it's excellent; however, I believe there are a number of books that I've read, including political, socio-cultural, historical and even gastronomic books that should be on this list. What's your opinion on the books in this list?
