Daniel S. Burt has assembled and ranked the 125 greatest novels from all cultures and time periods. Burt encourages disagreement with the listing, it is one persons opinion, the important thing is to read the novels and decide for oneself. In my reading of the list I agree with many books on the list being significant reads, but disagree with many. Reading the list has certainly expanded my world as a reader and a person.
