Some observations from the source book: "Adam Bede is strictly for reading when you're in a hostel in Thailand, miles from the nearest bookstore, and it's the only book left behind by previous travellers that's not in German. (No, I don't mean "or similar situations." This is literally the only situation in which we can guarantee you'll love this book)".
