The Worst Sequels of All Time

"Most sequels are like Frank Sinatra, Jr.—from conception, there was just no chance of equaling the original. But some films with 'Part 2' or 'The Next Chapter' are so odious, so egregiously awful, that they taint our memories of the films from which they were spawned.
I hate these movies.
Now, there's no point in listing the stinko franchises—for example, all the 'Police Academy' and 'Chucky' and 'Poison Ivy' and 'Friday the 13th' movies—seeing as how the originals weren't any good in the first place. (Did anyone expect Cyborg Cop III to be any good?) The sequels on this list are more offensively mediocre because they followed good, and in some cases great, films."
