Wolverine: The Best There Is; Part 4 -- The More Things Change... (2012-2019)

After a Schism with Cyclops causes the X-men to split into two factions, Wolverine himself sort of "split" between two types of character. One, the protective mentor to the newest generation of mutants; and two, the savage fighter willing to do what has to be done. All of this would eventually come to a head with Logan dying... only to be replaced with an older version of himself. And then come back to life again. Yeah, comics can be weird like that.
