Women in Translation Month Recommendations

August is Women in Translation month - a great opportunity to discover new authors and new perspectives. According to womenintranslation.org less than 31% of books translated into English are written by women. Only 36% of books translated into English are from non-European countries.
Here are some of my personal recommendations. They are all fantastic, fascinating reads.
