120 Great Books by Women Writers in Translation (To English) - Page 2

This list was inspired by the excellent crowd-sourced "100 Best Books by Women Writers in Translation" by Meytal Radzinski on Biblibio (see link below). With the goal of making an even more diverse list, I took the books from that list with the stipulation of only one book per author (I generally tried to choose the most popular of the author's books on the original list). I then added books by other authors from other classic and must-read lists, with an emphasis on classics and authors from underrepresented regions. Regions of Africa and Asia and elsewhere are still underrepresented because 1) many books were written in English in the first place and 2) too few books written in other languages have yet been translated.
