Our Maverick English Teacher and genre enthusiast considers the SF genre and comes up with 21 core texts representing women writers of SF. There are, of course, many, many more fine works by women writers, but our compiler limited himself to 20 books, one per author, He got his list down to 21, and then could not make up his mind which one to cut, so he left it at 21. These 21 books, and the other works by their authors, should be on the bookshelves of every serious reader of SF.
