This is part of a series of traditionally vegan food from around the world I am doing.
Please note that recipes can vary; thus, even though I have only picked dishes with a high probability of being vegan, always make sure to check the ingredient list or ask before buying/ordering something. This list is just intended to be an inspiration, both for what to eat when you're in Africa and what to cook at home.
Please note: Tapioca pudding tends to be vegan in Nigeria, but not vegan in South Africa!
