American Fiction Bestsellers 1970-1979 - Page 2

Bestsellers by Tolkien, Stephen King, Ken Follett, Frederick Forsyth, Agatha Christie, John le Carré. Adventure, romance, espionage drama, horror & fantasy. This list uses a bestseller table in "The Chronology of American Literature: America's Literary Achievements from the Colonial Era to Modern Times" by Daniel S. Burt (2004). If a book appeared twice on the bestseller table, I substituted a film version or a book sequel (though obviously the rank refers to the original book).
