Birds--The Eared Dove

Doves are probably not the most exciting birds in the world, but this one is kind of great.
They are so numerous they bring to mind the passenger pigeons that were completely wiped out in the 19th century. Farmers consider the birds a great pest so hopefully they haven't any plans in the future to destroy them.Eared Doves are of least concerned are not in danger any time soon to be extinct, probably because they can contiguously breed and they have the capacity to have new clutches every six weeks.
