The Green River is, at 760 miles, the longest tributary of the Colorado River and the 15th-longest in the United States, rising in the Wind River Mountains of western Wyoming and flowing south through northwestern Colorado and eastern Utah, where it meets the Colorado River at Canyonlands National Park.
