Great Series for Adults : Multi-Volume Stories to Get Lost In - Page 2

The title says it all. A couple of things should be noted: 1) Detective series have been excluded because they deserve a list of their own; 2) all the series listed have an overarching, multiple book story arc, even if individual books are self-contained; 3) Listings only include works by the original author ( hence, "Dune" and "Foundation " end with the last books written by Herbert and Asimov, respectively); and 4) series such as "Outlander" and "The Wheel of Time" have been excluded because our compiler hasn't read any of them. YA series have been excluded as well; they, too, deserve their own list.
