History Project: Important American Published Works Timeline 1900-1930

These are the books I chose for a history class project where I had to choose one American work per year that was culturally/historically significant. It was actually pretty difficult because I don't often read work from this era...and there were so many works by British authors that are considered the most important English-language books of that era and that completely overshadowed American authors... I tried hard to include works by diverse authors but it was hard, especially since it was a minor assignment and I didn't have the time or luxury to do more in-depth research. So please don't point out obvious ones I may have missed! 😆
